Coffee beans are normally two half beans, flat on one side. A peaberry is a single, round bean that is usually smaller than a traditional split bean. The flavor of a peaberry coffee bean are similar to a normal bean, but much more intense and complex than a normal bean. While traditional Kauai coffee is smooth and buttery, the peaberry definitely kicks it up a notch with its fuller, spicier, and more complex flavors.
